Let’s Talk About Love

At Tufts University (Massachusetts), psychologists C. Johnson-George and W. Swap identified a broad personality trait they called interpersonal trust, which influences how readily people fall in love. Their work suggested that approaching relationships with high distrust can make it harder to open up and love fully. Of course, trust ebbs and flows across life stages—hesitation at one point doesn’t define you forever.
